Abstract:
The emergence of hybrid work models has redefined workplace dynamics, requiring leaders to adapt their traditional approaches to effectively manage dispersed teams. This research examines the evolution of leadership styles in hybrid work environments, emphasizing the essential traits and strategies for fostering productivity, engagement, and collaboration. Hybrid work models, which blend remote and in-office work, demand leaders who exhibit flexibility, emotional intelligence, and adaptability to address diverse employee needs. Through a review of existing literature and qualitative data analysis, this study identifies key leadership competencies, including trust-building, effective communication, and the strategic use of technology to overcome geographical and cultural barriers. The findings highlight the importance of empathy-driven leadership, inclusivity, and technological proficiency in ensuring team cohesion and organizational success. This paper also explores the challenges of managing hybrid teams, such as maintaining equitable opportunities for all employees and mitigating communication gaps. Practical recommendations emphasize the need for leadership development programs focusing on adaptability, emotional intelligence, and digital fluency to align with the evolving demands of hybrid work.
