Reviewer Selection

Reviewers are selected based on their specific expertise and lack of conflicting interests. We utilize an international database of scholars to ensure that every manuscript receives a rigorous and impartial critique from external experts.

Conflicts of Interest

All participants (authors, reviewers, and editors) must disclose any financial or professional conflicts. Reviewers are required to decline invitations if they have a personal or institutional connection to the authors.

Confidentiality

The peer review process is strictly confidential. Reviewers are prohibited from sharing or utilizing research data prior to publication. Reviewer identities are never disclosed to the authors under the double-blind model.

Appeals & Complaints

Authors may appeal an editorial decision within 14 days of the outcome. Appeals are reviewed by a senior editor or the Editor-in-Chief not previously involved in the original decision process.

Anonymization Requirement
To protect the integrity of the double-blind process, authors must remove all self-identifying information (names, affiliations, and grant details) from the main manuscript file. These details should only be provided on the separate Title Page during submission.

Note: FJAR strictly adheres to COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) Core Practices. Our editorial decisions are based solely on scientific merit and are completely independent of Article Processing Charges (APCs) or waiver statuses.
